Summer mathematical school in Paris (July 16-27)
There's a cool opportunity this summer for math lovers between 16 and 20
years old*. Lectures will be in English, the application deadline is April
15, the cost is 400 euros (with financial aid available) and they will
accept 50 applicants. The speakers are
Omid Amini - Algebraic geometry of graphs
Antoine Chambert-Loir - Fourier transforms and number theory
Serge Cohen
Anne-Laure Dalibard - Partial differential equations
Timothy Gowers - Additive combinatorics
Bertrand Maury
Gilles Stoltz - Statistical hypothesis testing
Kathryn Mann - One-dimensional dynamics
To apply, you need to fill out a short form and solve some math problems,
write a motivation letter and have teachers (or mathcamp staff) submit
recommendation letters.
